THE SOUND AND THE FURY
TRANSITIONS (Carnivore Records CR-004)
Transitions sees The Sound and The Fury maturing with the addition of DJ Jabba The Cut to the roster. Overall an improvement, from production right through to mastering. Guns, TV, and Garbage are standouts here, where NES and Furious speak their minds on issues still pertinent today.

HIP HOP SCRABBLE (Carnivore Records CR-002)
Next Carnivore Records branched into hip hop territory with the first LP from The Sound and The Fury, comprised of MC/Producers NES (Martin Maunder) and Furious (Mike Gillespie). A valiant first effort, it’s a melting pot of tracks old and new. Classics are Bomb The World, written at the beginning of the US attack on Iraq, and Kentville Sucks, in which guest MC DJ Doug waxes eloquent on the problems of living in small town Nova Scotia.
FERAL ELYSIUM
DIESEL ENGINES (Carnivore Records CR-001)
Carnivore Records’ first CD release (2001)!
Feral Elysium’s 4th album (after three cassette EPs) is a 9-song, 74 minute instumental stonerrock opus. Standout tracks are the 6/8 rocker Uniform State which is sure to get your head bobbing and the moody, atmospheric Tall Doors which wraps you in layers of bass powerchord fuzz.
